Iconic German brewery Trumer‘s classic beer maiden is back for good in Moodley‘s new design for Obertrumer, and she looks better than ever. Her accompanying packaging takes a step above the aesthetic of your average Oktoberfest, with a bright, poppy look whose modern touches make it feel more vintage than old-fashioned.
The system gets its own bespoke typeface with clean lines and subtle, classically German serif details. The maiden herself looks noticeably happier than she did in the ’70s, with a bit more glow to her skin and an extra-fluffy apron. While she looks great in any of the flexible packaging’s earthy hues, she’s obviously at her best on the boxes and bottles for the Original, surrounded by a warm yellow like the mustard on a good brat.
