Being a parent is challenging. One of the daily struggles many folks face is getting their tikes to sit down and eat—or, you know, just to eat, to begin with. So you can’t fault parents for occasionally playing the Happy Meal card and swinging by McDonald’s or one of its competitors.
But some trendy parents seeking validation from social media can’t post a cute pic of their kid dunking McNuggets in BBQ sauce and expect a lot of likes and positive comments. Depending on the social circle, some people would even negatively judge parents who capitulate to the Clown Prince of Hamburgers just to get their little ones nourished with something.
Thankfully, Erewhon, the trendy 11-location LA-area supermarket chain specializing in pricey bottles of pressed juice and celebrity smoothie collabs, has Instagram-flexing parents covered on the kids’ meal front with its latest Postmates partnership.
